Shane Larson was born in Arizona, where he starting painting a drawing at a young age.  His formal art education began in college at Utah State University, where he earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in art.  Since graduation, he has been painting and illustrating commercially.  He has also taught illustration classes through Utah State University and is currently teaching drawing at USU.  His work has been recognized in art shows and art competitions nationally.
